The popularization of education, the rapid development of science and technology and the dissemination of information prompted the further liberation of thought of women and increasing the labor participation rate. Undeniable, female employment has made outstanding contributions in economic development, social progress and social harmony. As the family size is gradually narrowed, women’s participation in employment is not only can develop themselves and support their families, but also can increase human capital investment about themselves and their children’s. Although in recent years, countries have enacted a series policies and regulations which is conducive to employment, However, the system is not perfect as well as the particularity of the female, female employment present marginalize and informal. The main features include the Labor relations are not standardized and periodic employment is difficult to achieve. There are significant deficiencies of urban informal employment groups of female in employment security and social insurance.This paper uses the literature analysis method firstly, from the definition of informal employment, sorting out the relevant literature about informal employment of female and employment security, in order to indicate the object of study in this article and estimated the number of informal employment of female. In order to understand the actual situation of urban informal employment groups of female, this paper used the methods of questionnaire survey and interview to survey in hefei. Combined with the survey data, present situation and the existing problems with the theory of social gender and Labor market segmentation, analysis of the causes of the lack of employment security, thus put forward the corresponding policy recommendations.By analysis the actual survey data, this paper argues that women’s informal employment will also present a rising trend in the future, what’s more, it’s growth in a high speed. Thus, employment security of informal employment groups of female should be pay more attention. This paper thinks the main reason of the lack of employment security is the imbalance between supply and demand, the bondage of traditional values and the imperfection mechanism. Therefore, to ease the contradiction of supply and demand, improve the level of employment security not only need women themselves to improve human capital, but also need government support, including strengthen legislation and supervision, expanding the social service agencies and improving the social security system.
