Transformation Of Township Government's Functions From The Viewpoint Of Building-up Of A New Countryside

The functions of township government refer to the basic duties and administrative role of the township government in dealing with social public affairs. They reflect the basic tasks and service directions of township government. The function of township government is a dynamic concept that changes constantly with the objective environment and social conditions. The former three generations of central collective leadership group headed by Comrade Mao Zedong, Comrade Deng Xiaoping and Comrade Jiang Zemin in succession, have made their invaluable contributions in exploring and leading China's countryside building cause.This thesis aims at learning a lesson from their deeds on the basis of a historical research and detailed analysis. Further more, in comply with the original notion of "Building-up of a New Countryside" put forward by General Secretary Hu Jintao in representing of the current CPC central leading collective, the author tries to work out new ways or methods in guiding the township government function transformation cause.
