The Analysis Of Current Development Of Charity In China

As economic is developing rapidly in our country, a series of social problems is arising at the same time ,such as a widening gap between rich and poor, increasing difficulties groups, imbalance between regions. To solve these social problems, and build a harmonious society, we need to establish a sound social security system and strong governmental intervention mechanisms, and it is especially important for the development of charity at the moment. Because the development of charity not only can fill the gaps of national policies, and also can contribute to maintain community health, coordinate development and reduce social conflict, and enhance social responsibility and ethics, and other aspects of public functions. The current development of china's charities is immature, but it is undeniable that it is the effective mechanism to regulate gap between rich and poor and to reduce social contradictions, so charity in China should develop greatly in the future. The Fourth Plenary Session of the Party's Sixteenth also stated clearly the need to"improve the social security system including the social insurance, social relief, social welfare and charity", and it taken explicitly the development of charity as an important part of the social security system. Social charitable work has become an important part of socialist harmonious society.This article mainly from the moral ethics, the social economy, the legal system and so on the various angle of view obtains, the economic, ethics, the politics, the psychology and the legal science and so on the multi-gates discipline, carries on the research analysis to our country present stage philanthropy development.There are four parts in the article. The first part is the definition of the concept of charity; the second part it is the analysis of the importance to the development of charity at present. The third part is the narration of the status of the development of charity in our country, and also an analysis of the current problems in charity; and finally in the fourth part, it is the analysis of the relationship between the development of a harmonious society and charity, and also some proposals to the development of charity at present.
