Charity Reports And The Construction Of Harmonious Society In China

After more than 20 years of development, China's charity~1 are getting into a new era of rapid development and playing an increasingly important role in the process of building a harmonious society. But generally speaking, the popularization rate of the charity awareness in China is relatively low in this stage and the commonweal values in society and the sense of participation of the public remain to be improved. Chinese charity reports as a relatively particular field are placed in the comparative edge of position. The practice proves the reports of the charity activities by the mass medium, to some extent, determine the public's recognition of charities.Nowadays, the study of charity activities have the important practical significance and academic values in the role of building a harmonious society. The research combines the national conditions to build a harmonious society in the present stage, apply several subjects and theories according to the theories of Journalism, Communication, Sociology and Law, etc. There're three chapters included , starting with the relation of the society function in charity reports and the building of a harmonious society, and discussing the importance of charity reports in building a harmonious society ,which contains the features and the study of the existent problems and the solutions.The researches show that charity reports play a positive role in the aspects of society values, society regulations and the public opinions. So as to build a harmonious society and play an important role which the other types of reporting cannot completely fulfill. The charity reports should act much better in the aspects of advocating and guidance, surveillance by public opinions and the culture inheritance. We should change the existent reporting habits and mode, in the mean time improve the news service and the charity reports.
