Legislation Problems And Strategies Of Vocational Education In China

Development of Vocational Education is considered as an important work for the economy and the whole education system in China. However, on this issue, some problems do exist, such as: the incomplement of legislation system; the lack of the sense of vocational education legislation; the weakness of supervision to vocational education. According to the above problems, drawing on the experiences of some highly developed countries, this essay will provide several successful models to introduce the characters of vocational education legislation, then compare and analyze some common places between the foreign countries and China. The emphasis will also be placed on the potential solutions, like: to insist firmly on the principles of legislation system and indigenization; to complete the present vocational education legislation; to clear the powers among different departments for vocational education; to execute the legislation strictly; to supervise the legislation rigorously; to strengthen the sense of VEL; to make contributions for building the healthier and better Vocational Education legislation of China.
