Study On The Theory Of Rawls' Social Justice

What is the justice? What is the standard of justice? How to realize social justice? The problem about justice like that has been initiating people's positive thinking all the time. 1970s, Rawls, famous political philosopher of U.S.A, explained and proved his own unique opinion on the justice problem in a argumentation way which seem "intricate" .Rawls has explained and proved his theory of justice on the base of social contract. He thinks that justice is the primary value of social institution. Rawls propose two extraordinary principles of justice standing macroscopic perspective in society, i.e. liberty principle and difference principle. These two principles correspond to two major parts of the social basic structure, the first principle of justice concerns the citizen's political right and obligation, which purpose is establishes and ensures the citizen's equality freedom; The second principle of justice concerns the distribution of the society and economic benefits, the purpose is to seek a kind of dynamic equilibrium between the society development and the benefits of least person. Rawls is mediating the contradiction between freedom and equality with gingerliness.As soon as Rawls' social justice theory was produced, which receives a lot of query,criticisms even deny. But it can not overthrowing Rawls' social justice theory, and because of the profundity,systematic and humanity nature, it display the enormous vitality. Certainly, there have a lot of unsatisfactory places in Rolls' social justice theory.The Chinese society is in a key transformation period, numerous social contradictions are threatening the stability and development of the society, we need power messages to relieve and solve these contradictions urgently.
