The thesis analyze the cultural source of Japan's Asian-Pacific diplomacy usingtheories like cultural theory, cultural anthropology, sociology, psychology and so on.Japan's diplomacy is just like a process of seeking of its identity. Its identity inAsian-Pacific area is heavily printed by a symbol of Japanese culture. Because of theculture of dependent psychology and the lack of the bundles which beyond concept, Japancan depend on and benefit from America without psychological suppress in order toobtain the protection of America in security and be a strong military country itself. Asia isa starting to Japan to be a world-wide strong country. In history, in order to realize thedream of being a world-wide strong country, Japan had invaded Asian neighbors crazily, and this reflects the irrational aspects in Japanese culture. Now, Japan wants to do it again, but Japan's attitude toward the history and admiration of militarism give a bad impressionto Japan's present peaceful line.
