During the early years of New China, with the people'sdemocratic politics, establishment, the CPC methodically carried onthe ideological and political education to the peasants which revolvingaround each centrally rural task. These ideological and politicaleducations enhanced the peasants' political consciousness and arousedtheir enthusiasm and advantageously completed the countryside eachenterprise.This article, guided by the Marxism dialectical and historicalmaterialism and basing on the existing related reference andemploying historical documents, thoroughly discusses and carefullyresearches the CPC's ideological and political education to thepeasants during the early years of New China.This article is composed of three parts: the introduction, the bodyand the conclusion. In the first part, the article introduces the researchsignificance and the existing relevant research and brings up theinnovation and research methods. The body includes four chapters.Chapter 1 analyses the basic contents of the ideological andpolitical education to the peasants during the early years of NewChina: the class education "Who feeds who"; socialism andcollectivism; patriotism and internationalism.Chapter 2 deals with the basic methods of ideological andpolitical education to the peasants during the early years of NewChina: persuasion; recalling past suffering; being repeated;self-teaching.Chapter 3 reveals the basic characteristics of the ideological andpolitical education to the peasants during the early years of NewChina: ideological and political education combining with the wipingout illiterate persons and literacy education; a big propagandapainstaking combining with the carefully ideological and politicalwork; solving ideological problems combining with solving the practical problems of the peasants; the systematically ideological andpolitical education combining with the regularly ideological andpolitical education.Chapter 4 summarizes the basic experience ideological andpolitical education to the peasants during the early years of NewChina: the CPC's ideological and political education to the peasantsmust attach importance to the theoretical innovation; the CPC'sideological and political education to the peasants must adhere thetheory which must be installed into; the CPC's ideological andpolitical education to the peasants must adhere the principle ofmaterial interests; we must look on the ideological and politicaleducation to the peasants as the central link of the CPC's countrysideenterprises.In the last part, the article points out the CPC's ideological andpolitical education to the peasants in nowadays not only inherits thefine tradition of ideological and political education to the peasantsduring the early years of New China but also attaches importance tothe innovation of the ideological and political education to thepeasants.
