With the aggravation of the energy crisis and the environmental pollution, more and more countries begin to strengthen the development of renewable energy resources. Many developed countries have begun to take shape and reached a high standard of technology in the field of utilizing renewable energy resources. Being a developing country, our country is faced with dual pressure of economic growth and environmental protection. Developing renewable energy resources vigorously is a logical choice of our country's future energy for sustainable development. Substantial law can promote the development of renewable energy resources. And a good idea of theoretical research is necessary for legislation and law enforcement. This is a basic point for the writing. The writing makes an intensive study of legal protection of our renewable energy resources. The purpose of this study is to perfect the law system of renewable energy resources by exploring overseas legislation and by reflecting on the present situation and the defect of domestic legislation.The text takes research on China's legislative protection of renewable energy resources as a topic, mainly employs the comparative analysis method. The full text is divided into four parts. Part I chiefly interpreted a general survey of renewable energy resources. First of all the text introduced the definitions of renewable energy resources, and then introduced a general survey of China's renewable energy resources, finally discussed that legislation is an effective means to advance the development of renewable energy resources. Part II made an investigation of overseas renewable energy resources legislation and borrowed ideas from it. By employing the comparative analysis method, the text did a comparative analysis of American, German, British and Japanese present situation of renewable energy resources legislation. The text summed up successful experience of overseas legislation related to renewable energy resources for reference. Part III treated of the present situation of our China's renewable energy resources legislation and made an objective estimate. This part firstly gave information about China's present situation of renewable energy resources legislation, and then made an objective estimate on this ground. Part IV is about several proposals to perfect our country's renewable energy resources legislation. A sound and rapid development of our country's renewable energy resources is expected to promote China's sustainable development process.
