The Discussion About CPC's Policy On Taiwan Issue Since 1990's

This thesis is devoted to a study on CPC's policies to Taiwan issue since 1990's. By the research to the issue, I try to demonstrate the third generation of CPC's leading nucleus, Jiang Zening, and new generation of CPC's leaders, Hu Jintao, withhold a principled stand and flexible strategy and tactics. And try to draw useful conclusions on smoothing out Taiwan issue.The essence of Taiwan issue is the issue of China's domestic affairs, which is a left-behind matter resulted from the civil war between Chinese Communist Party and Nationalist Party after the second World War as well as America's and some westen countries'interference in China's unifying. After foundation of the PRC, the first and the second generations of the CPC's leading nucleus , Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, made every effort and enploration to solve this problem .They put forward the policy on"liberating Taiwan"and"one county, two systems". What they did has established the important basis for the policy of new CPC's leaders .The third generation and the new generation of CPC's leaders, carrying out peaceful reunification,"one country ,two systems"policy unswervingly, and holding international and domestic situation as well as inner-island circumstances, adjust the policy towards Taiwan constantly according to new changes, which promotes and leads the cross-Straits relations to develop in healthy, favorable direction.The policy on Taiwan is keeping evolution and innovation ,such as the changes in the interpretation of"the connotation of one China", in the"time table" for the solution of Taiwan issue, in"the dual preparation for the peaceful solution and resorting to arms","anti-Taiwan independence"and"unifying",the policy shows firmness in insisting on"one-China principle"and flexibility ,it also has guiding significance to realize the unity of our motherland.The policies on Taiwan by the two generations of CCP collective leadership is the development of those policies of the Communist Party of China in a logical way, and have reflected the consistency and continuity of Party's policy on Taiwan since 1990's.
