Research On Outsourcing Of Military Equipment Support

With the military equipments becoming more and more complex the military equipment support is more and more important in the hi-tech regional war under the condition of informationization. The result of military equipment support decides the fight power of military equipment, which influences the fight power of armed forces directly. Facing such reality, it is not enough to only use the military resources in military equipment support area.The outsourcing is a kind of management method which means the enterprises use the outside professional resources to serve themselves. The costs will be reduced and the efficiency will be promoted through the outsourcing in the enterprises. Both the American and European armed forces have introduced the outsourcing to lower the cost and promote the efficiency in the military equipment support area since 1990s, which has made great achievement. With the building of socialism-market economy and the coming of new military revolution era, the emergency of practicing the outsourcing in military equipment support in our armed forces is getting heavier and heavier. Based on above thoughts, this study firstly carries out economic analysis of outsourcing in the military equipment support, then carries out some system decision researches and practice researches based on it, finally puts forward some guiding and operative policy advices.
