Thesis On Role And Orientation Of The Communist Youth League (CYL) Of China In The Period Of Social Reconstruction

Currently China is in a period of"Social Reconstruction", with the social system changed from Planning Society toward Market Society, social structure from the country society toward the city society, social development from poverty toward affluence and industrial society toward information society. The social reconstruction is influencing people's philosophy and value on social development, and it impacts the leading force and determinant factors of social development and social development methodology and mechanism. All of these changes are fully demonstrated in the community where people live, work and study.The Communist Youth League (CYL) Of China, as a mass organization of advanced youth led by the Communist Party of China (CPC), and with development objectives of endeavoring to Harmonious Society, always attach huge importance on the development of city communities, serving and promoting the society development in a harmonious manner as well as assisting and directing the sound growth of youngsters. The community has turned into a brand-new field with broad prospects for Youth League. How the Youth League better fulfills three commitments Party award, namely, exert the role of the assistant and back-up for the Party, play the role of the important social support for the state regime, and shoulder the role of the contact point for the Party and the government connecting with the mass youth. This paper puts forth that the community is a focus of Youth League work and an essential domain of fulfilling the three commitments, and it indicates that the development of youth activities in the communities should be further strengthened, promoting the youth organization targets of turning the youth from"Company Employees"into"Social People"then toward"Organization Members". To be specific, through improvement of Youth League community work development in respect of organization, activity and service, it states several issues that the organization network coverage does not match the youth flow distribution, the activities can not meet the diverse requirements of the youth, the occupation and specialization of teenagers in the community is not qualified. It takes analysis and estimation on the current status and future development of the youth league organization activities in the community through the Government Public Administration and Social Management theories, and puts forth that the focus of Youth League organizations participating in the development of harmonious society and harmonious community is on the community where Youth League could play positive roles.This paper also states of the direction of Youth League community development bearing the objectives of effective coverage, orderly management, powerful service and smooth coordination, through strengthening original basis of Youth League organizations and promote the organization development under new economy trend and new society to further perfect the system development of community organizations, through exerting effective participation and management in the youth center, teenager associations and community affairs to further improve the youth serving system in the community. Based on the city economic and social development and the development and influence of the internet, youth characteristics, it makes further analysis on work of Shanghai Youth League communities, and puts forth several suggestions of focusing the function development of youth community, the resource supporting for youth league work and mechanism development of youth league work in symmetric manner, attempting for certain hints and reference for role-playing and orientation of current and future Youth League organizations development in the communities.
