The work of was write on the bankground of Qi culture academic centre----the Jixia institution of learning which was exoteric, and with the development of style of study in Jixia which everyone discuss drastically in the Pre-qin's Zhanguo. In presentday, academia considered the writers of Guanzi was Guanzhong's school. From its thought, the work distinctly was of the Jixia style which every school was side-by-side, syncretic, in the person of Zeitgeist and needs. Faced with frequent war of troubled waters, the writers of Guanzi were clearly obvious that renewing unified order needed breaking out old rules, and that new suitation should be formed according to law, to take place of traditional politics. So, Guanzi based on the school of Qi Legist and demonstrated on Taoist, and blended its own legal theories which syncretized Legist', Taoist'and Confucian'thought. The work had special ideas on the concept of law, and discussed systematically and deeply the nature of law, the role of law, the principle of legislation and enforcement of law. The completional and progressional jurisprudence established on that Guanzi dealed with the relations of somethings and law, and looked forward to be in rapport with the two. The relations had been corresponded or not influenced the foundation of law theories, for instance, the spritual principles, human nature and law; the emperor, liegeman, common people and law; the rule of Rite and law; the intention, lordliness and law. However, many works of history of physilosophy and thought told Jin Legist belonged to the school of Legist excepting for Qi Legist or writed in a way. Zhang Dainian actually denoted that Guanzi also blonged to Legist in Pre-qin, and it was a large amount. So that the theories of law in Guanzi was meritorious even in modern society.
