Comparative Research On The Crimes Committed By New-generation Laborers & Relevant Solutions

At present the structure of laborers in cities is changing. Those young people born in 1970s and got education in 1980s are becoming the majority. They are called"new-generation laborers"for their differences from the first-generation on individual experiences, educations, social opinions and desires of self-development.Challenged with more opportunities and more pressure than their elder generation in city life, the new-generation laborers have much stronger desires to change their living conditions. When set back by the reality, they are usually inclined to run the risks of committing crimes to make a quick change. Those crimes have become a serious issue and an urgent problem to solve, which will make a strongly negative impact on the harmonious construction of city and the social stability. This paper selects the groups of first-generation laborers, urban new-generation, new immigrants in western countries to make a comparative research on crimes committed by new-generation laborers in the aspects of main body characters, crime types, crime causes and relevant solutions, paying attention to both the similarity and the difference, and then puts forward the solutions to reduce those crimes.This paper is divided into four parts.
