| In this paper the author discussed the legal relationship of international shipping agency and made an attempt to improve China's legislation in this respect on the basis of the study' on international shipping agent systems by taking into consideration of the peculiarity of international shipping agent.Through the actual operation of shipping agency in issuing Bill of Lading and releasing cargoes without original Bill of lading, the author analyzed the legal status of shipping agency. Then, the author analyzed the legal status of shipping agency concerning the cost and other actual problems. We could draw a conclusion that international shipping agency showed its peculiarity in its legal status, and the legal status of shipping agency was different according to different situations. |
