Research On The Development And Characteristics Of The Modern Worker's Movement In Dalian

In modern time, Dalian has become the leased-territory of Russia and Japan successively, and has been rule by the Imperialism for half a century. In this typical city, the development of The Worker's Movement has its own rules and characteristics. From this point, based on the conclusion and summarizing of historical materials, this thesis classified The Worker's Movement as the earlier spontaneous fighting and the later self-conscious fighting, taking the May Fourth Movement as the dividing line. And then, the thesis concluded and research on the development of The Worker's Movement. Based on the research, the thesis broughtforward the three characteristics of The Worker's Movement in Dalian-----national revolution,workers united fighting and rapid developing. Then, the thesis analyzed the reasons for these three characteristics politically, economically and historically. The purpose is to abstract the effect and significance of The Worker's Movement in Dalian at that time; and to give a proper status to The Worker's Movement in Dalian. The Worker's Movement in Dalian played an important role in shocking the ruling of the Imperialism, cultivating the backbone for The Worker's Movement in China, and accelerating the development of The Worker's Movement in the northeast. In conclusion, the research on The Worker's Movement in Dalian is aimed at filling the blank spot of the research on the history of The Worker's Movement, and providing meaning for reference to the research on The Worker's Movement in colonial countries.
