The Research On Construction Of Contemporary Chinese Government Credit

As a basic moral standard, credit plays an important part in the history of the development of human society. Date from Yao, Shun and Yu, known as the legendary sage kings in ancient China, and the Confucius who is the representative of the great thinkers of the past, credit which is considered as a moral standard now has a history of nearly 3000 years. It is not only the way one conducts oneself in society, but also the foundation of being in power. The account of this thought can be found in many works written by thinkers in ancient China. Now credit has become the significant mark of civilized society, which guarantees the sound development of community. "It is credit that makes the moral behavior and integrity become the realmorality......ignoring credit which is as the basic duty in our life will surely destroythe moral system. Finally, it would be a negative factor that is bound to influence the sincerity of morality." Mentioned by president and General secretary of CPC Hu Jintao, "Eight honor, Eight shame" which advocates cadres and masses to be honor to those who are honest and trustworthy, and shame on those who forsake good for the sake of gold, should be ethics of our society and our common sense of honor and shame, and they can even be the moral outlooks of the modern world. It is obvious that the credit-related problems have been paid more and more attention by the society. By using the research results of the domestic and foreign scholars for reference, the author tries to carry out an extensive and deep study on the theme of the existed flaw, the reason and the adverse consequences of government credit and propose a government plan to solve the above problems. All of these will be done from the aspect of applying theory to practice and utilizing the Marx dialectical materialism methodology,The basic mentality of the paper is as follow: starting from the analysis of the connotation of government credit, then discuss the current flaw of government credit and the negative consequence from many angles and strategic levels. After that, it refers to excavate the root of the flaw of government credit. Finally, an overall plan will be drawn up.
