Food quality issue have become increasingly prominent in recent years, not only has a serious impact on people's lives and health, and undermine market economic order as a serious social problem. In this background, Based on the position of economic law, this paper discuss the issue of food quality regulation by law. In this paper, the main problems are: the reasons of food quality regulations; China and the developed countries' food quality regulation system, including laws and systems, regulatory bodies' ;duties and means of implementation; China's food quality regulation by law. This paper focuses on laws' implementation and specific enforcement issues, and propose some feasibility of proposals to our food regulation system for improvement.The thesis is divided into four parts. Food Quality on the first part of the theoretical basis of Market Regulation, respectively, from the economics and jurisprudence of Market Regulation reasons, and the related concept of Market Regulation to be defined. Review of the second part of the extraterritorial food regulation system, improve the system for our reference and use. The third part of the existing comprehensive and quality of food regulation system. Analysis of the quality regulation system in China.The forth part give some proposal.
