This article from the sociology of science angle of view, the utilization of demonstrational research method, this thesis can be viewed as a review of the historical event——Germany's militaty technology transfer to Republic of china during 1928 and 1938. The features and thewhole procedures of the event are illustrated respectivey from four aspects——internationalsituation and motivation of that time, the approaches to caryy out the transfer, status and effect. At the very beginning, this thesis puts emphsis on the early pioneering of the Chinese market during the period of the Weimar Republic, on interactive conditions of Germany's re-adjustment and our national government's reform motivated by inner and outer dangers, and on factors and inevitability of Germany's military technology transfer. The thesis also specifically states how China as an underdeveloped agricultural country with constant foreign aid under that hostile historical condition, created the unique military technolory transfer mode in order to strenghen our country's potential ability in war, according to our economic status and the advantage of resource abundance, and Germany's powerfull industry. The thesis puts great efforts on our national government's wise choice which promoted the harmonious development between military tochnology and industry on the condition that the progress of military technology is based on the social economic development, which reflects the priority of military technology. Republic of china not only paved the material way for modernazation of our army, but also made the initial step for building modern industry system which is on the basis of heavy industry, thus promoting military manufacturing.
