The Function And Type Of Elite In Urban Communities

The dissertation concerns with the functions played by the elites of urban community in the community governance structure and the order creation as well as its deep social basis of multiculturalism elite,during witch urban community as micro-social form are used as analyzing units,administration by the elites are embedded in the community governance as an important variable,empirical and region-investigating apporaches are used.At the basis of this,from various angles,comments the innovation contribution by different categories of the elite in their respective areas,inquiring the theory of democracy connotation hiding in the elite governance.Firstly, from the elite connotations of the concept ,starting the introduction of Western political philosophy of elite theory, theory of pluralism and multiculturalism elite, in order to laid the theoretical foundation of the core vocabulary in the articlt, then the transition to urban communities and the content of elements, described community function of the micro-elite field.Last, define the type of elite urban communities scientifically in the comparision with the rural communities.Secondly, from the micro-level, community-based organizations in accordance with the reasonable request, select five different types of elites in urban communities, through presented their case in maintaining social stability, promoting economic development, riching cultural life, to build a harmonious community vividly. Play the special features, and the elite of the community to participate in community management of the relevant factors, at this stage fully explain the urban social management system and the need for elite control inevitability.Thirdly, focusing on the macro environment for the community as a whole, the focus of the elite and urban communities closely related to the diversification of the four variables: the political, economic and social changes in the system; needs of the community pluralism and diversity area of governance; the expansion of community functions; the major changes of community management structure.Postscript part focus on a harmonious society and building a harmonious community and objective of the elite governance that the advantages and possible negative effects.
