This text used the way of combination of theory and practice, and historically and logically expatiated the theory and practice of Mao Tse-tung's diplomatic thought in the period of "Great Cultural Revolution", which thoroughly analyses the historic status and limitation of Mao Tse-tung's diplomatic thought in this period at ages.Mao Tse-tung, the founder of new china's diplomatic undertaking, leaded chinese diplomacy before the opening and reform. At the background of international cold war, the core problem of Chinese diplomacy is how to contact with other nations in the world at the state of an independent country, in order to maintain the interest of our nation and promote the international order to the direction of more just and rational. In the period of "Great Cultural Revolution", Chinese status improved a lot and china more and more participated in the international issues and made an unremitting contribution to the world peace and development. And all these related to the guidance of Mao Tse-tung's diplomatic thought.This essay consists of introduction, text and conclusion.The essay begins with the introduction, which covers the significance of the research, analyzes the condition of Mao Tse-tung's diplomatic thought in the period of "Great Cultural Revolution" research, and put forward the necessity of the study.The first part gives the historical background of Mao Tse-tung's diplomatic thought in the period of "Great Cultural Revolution", which is both international and domestic. From the middle and the end of 1950s to the end of 1960s, the international situation showed the trend of great turbulence, great differentiation, great reorganization, which revealed the trend of multipolar but not the two polar confronted each other in 1940s. In 1966, the "Great Cultural Revolution" broke out, which interrupted the normal order of Chinese diplomacy. Under this background, Mao Tse-tung took a series of steps to make great efforts to put right the"left"mistake.The second part makes a research on the main contents of Mao Tse-tung's diplomatic thought in the period of "Great Cultural Revolution".
