Path Dependence And Reformo Of Functions With New Public Management Trend In Chinese Government

Recently, the new public management reforms popularized in western countries have further developed their economy and society by improving the level of public management and offering more public services. No doubt about it, the new trend in the reform of local government in China has got some characteristics of the new public management in recent years. Nevertheless, it's only the first step and influenced by the disadvantages of the previous reforms. Moreover, if we insist on this wrong way, it's very likely to destroy what we have already achieved, even lock the reform in non-efficiency thus path dependence appears. Therefore, the thesis is to find out those disadvantages in reforms, analyze its reasons and results in the light of experiences and lessons in previous reforms, and find out the solution in order to get rid of those disadvantages.
