An Empirical Study Of Political Psychology Among Northwest China Rural Youth

For contemporary political psychology, the current study not only remains in the general abstract theoretical research, but also stays in the research of urban residents and elites. And the political psychology study for rural residents is rarely, especially for rural youth. Political psychology is impacting the development and the running of the system of autonomy in the whole village, and it would also affect each villager's behaviors in the political system.Hence, it is very helpful to study the political status of contemporary rural youth so that we can make up for the current lack of research in the rural area. Especially in the big background where the villager autonomy is being on, this kind of study appears to be particularly important.This paper focuses on empirical research in the emotional part of political psychology -political attitudes, political value views, political ideals, as well as the rational part-political acts . By conclusive scientific data I can analyze the modernity of the current rural youth in the political psychology, as well as social deviations in social and political roles. After that, I do some rough outlook for the direction and future of political psychological development of the rural youth, and point out some shallow understanding on how to optimize the psychological environment during the development. Finally, I hope doing such work is able to play a useful role in the process to build contemporary grassroots democracy in Chinese rural area.
