A Study Of International Human Rights Protection To Women AIDS/HIV

June 1981, the United States reported the first case of AIDS to the world,and Chinese mainland first identified AIDS case in 1985. Women bear the most vulnerable in these have been infected and vulnerable groups, they have occupied almost half of the recent global AIDS cases, and also worsen the trend.The Subordination status of women in social , political, economic and daily life makes them living in vulnerable position and makes them properties from becoming susceptible population in the course of the HIV transmission. Women's disadvantage in their physical structure compare to men , makes them more easily becoming the objects of AIDS attacktion. These disadvantages of women AIDS patients have accelerated in the spread of AIDS transmission, which increasingly expand women AIDS patients to a huge group of people, and suffered by merciless social exclusion. Women AIDS patients suffered the stigma, discrimination, violence , social exclusion and isolation has led to more disadvantage and social exclusion to them. Thus further makes them suffer more harm of AIDS and ultimately create lasting and multiple vicious circle. To improve women's human rights situation, preventing and treating AIDS, we need global protection on women to strengthen the protection of human rights, thereby reducing the risk of women infected with AIDS.At present, the human rights of female AIDS patients protection gradually draw international community and AIDS organizations attention. International human rights instruments in general has made provisons of the basic right to women AIDS patients, such as health, privacy and the marriage and reproductive rights, and other major human rights provisions. As a result , providing a basis in international law for States to fulfil their commitment to the fight against AIDS.Compared to the general international human rights documents, the preventing and treating AIDS international documents are developing in the international community in the long-term struggle with AIDS. These documents for the protection of female AIDS patients are more specific and operationa than the general international human rights documents .As a big country, China has gradually recognized that the spread of AIDS to the international community and domestic life of the masses of the great dangers. China has taken the initiative to assume a big country should assume the obligations of States to combat AIDS, developed a series of laws and regulations, rules and regulations this thesis ending up with conclusion of China's shortcomings in protection the human rights of women living with HIV/AIDS, and give my own suggestions on how to improve and perfect domestic legislation and protection of human rights mechanism.
