The 21st Century-oriented China's Good-neighborly Diplomatic Strategy

China's good-neighborly diplomacy is in the ascendant at the 21st century, it is a logic development of the historical tradition of China's good-neighborly diplomacy which is of long standing. Because the diplomacy of good-neighbor has been implemented, it not only maintains Chinese peripheral area stable and achieves sustained and healthy development of national economy, but also improves relations between China and neighboring countries. It brings new opportunities for the neighboring countries and Asia .It plays a positive role in maintaining world peace and promoting common development. Good-neighborly diplomacy occupies a unique and important position in China's diplomacy. It will achieve great vitality on the basis of equality, mutual benefit and reciprocity, win-win situation.This text is from the three parts composing:The first part is a research on the origin of China's good-neighborly diplomacy thought. Combining with the culture factor and material factors, I have made a comprehensive analysis in theory on China's good-neighborly diplomatic behavior.The second part is a discussion on challenges and opportunities facing contemporary China's good-neighborly diplomacy. Good-neighborly diplomatic means is single; The United States is keeping the constant interference; the Taiwan issue remains stalemate in the current; the Globalization brings the impact on economy and politics; the problem of surrounding hot-spots brings impact; the maritime and territorial disputes and conflicts of security and economic interests with neighboring states. But Opportunity and challenge are coexisting. Good-neighborly diplomatic practice laid good basis in the past; Regional economic integration has rapid development; the Global problems are increasing unceasingly; 9.11 incidents provided a good turning point. Both these opportunities and these challenges provide a broader space and stage for good-neighborly diplomacy.The three part is brief study on the basic nature and characteristics of good-neighborly diplomacy, a research on the vision for the future and specific strategy of good-neighborly diplomacy. I made corresponding strategy against the problem of the United States, Russia, Japan, India, surrounding small states and groups of countries. Do our best to avoid aggravating contradictions and ensure a favorable surrounding environment for the important period of strategic opportunity .Further expand strategic interests of China and to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
