At present the problems of"farmers, farming and countryside"are the important problems in our country. The question of farmers is the key to"farmers, farming and countryside"problems. Speeding up farmer's professional differentiation is one of the effective ways to solve the problem of farmers. Farmer's professional differentiation is a trend that farmer transfer from the originally single agricultural profession to non-agricultural profession, with coexistence of various professional roles in countryside and town. Farmer's professional differentiation has played an important role in alleviating the employment pressure, increasing farmer's income, and promoting economic development in countryside.Farmer's professional differentiation is one of the key measures to narrow the income gap between China's urban and rural areas. Farmer's professional differentiation can realize China's farming and countryside continuable development.Farmer's professional differentiation is the urgent need to build a socialist harmonious society. This paper is based on Farmer's professional differentiation reality, empirical analysis and studies in Qingdao. We done the data collection and collation. Then, we had a stratified random sample survey in Qingdao's five county-level cities in order to obtain first-hand information. We analyzed the influence of farmer's self-factors, family situation and residence situation to farmer'sprofessional differentiation. As far as farmers themselves concerned ,the level of education plays an important role in farmer's professional differentiation. The more well-educated and party-member farmers tend to be easy to join in the professional differentiation. There is less restrain for male farmers than the female in undertaking non-agricultural professions. The older the farmer is, the harder the professional differentiation is realized. In terms of family situation, the per-capita farmland of family members and the number of children under the age of seven have apparent negative effect on farmer's professional differentiation. As for residence farmers near cities are more likely to be differentiated than those who are far away. The number of village ownership enterprises has positive influence on farmer's professional differentiation. On the basis of above analyses, suggestions were given as follows. Strengthen the training of farmers and improving their diathesis. Attention to women farmer's professional differentiation. Strengthen rural party members'training and education. Further implement the protection of migrant workers rights. Improve the land transfer system. Strengthen the construction of small towns. Develop rural industrialization.
