Yu Ying-shi's Research About The Democratic Resources In Chinese Cultural Tradition And His Research Method By Comparing The Chinese And Western Value

Yu Ying-shi is the most important historian by researching Chinese history in the later 20th century. As a Chinese scholars who is researching the Chinese culture and history, Yu also has been educated in America for many years, so we can find that in his research of Chinese history and culture, there is a research method which is comparing the Chinese and western value. This paper wants to find the significance of this research method.This paper is exploring the significance of the democratic resources in Chinese culture by using the democratic value factors as a breakthrough point.
