E-Government, which makes fully usage of new modern network technique and information technique, is a profound revolution of the traditional management style. E-Government implies that government management should be more transparent to the public. Moreover, according to E-Government, the traditional function of the government should be improved and the organizing framework should be restructured. E-Government could bring new challenges in many ways to the reform for management principle and approaches in many aspects, such as management environment, social economic structure and personnel. Facing this situation, in the whole progress of promoting economic development, the XPCC has devoted great efforts to promote E-Government in order to gradually build up an E-Government public service system cross army, divisional and regimental. Through making use of various technological means, the E-Government public service system will take the citizen and the business enterprise as service objects based on internet.The research methodology of this article is the combination of theories and practices. By using a model case, the author analyzed the characteristics of the XPCC at the beginning. After talking about the progress of the XPCC being information-based, E-government was introduced. In addition, the importance of the implementation of E-government was analyzed. Considering the advantages and disadvantages of the current situation of E-Government of the XPCC, the author recommended a solution from soft environment and hard environment. In conclusion, the future direction of E-gpvernment in XPCC was put forward, the aim of which was promoting industry, agriculture and commerce in XPCC information-based, and constructing harmonious modern corps.
