Research On The Historical Evolution Of Xinjiang Production And Construction Corps

The Xinjiang production and Construction Corps consists of people of all ethnic groups in the border areas.It is a special social organization which carrying out the task entrusted by the Party and the state to reclaim and garrison the border.The establishment and development of the Corps is a great pioneering work of the CPC which enhanced ethnic solidarity,defended the border area harmonious stability,promoted the local economic growth.There are four parts in this paper:The first chapter takes the historical evolution of Xinjiang production Corps as the main research object.This chapter systematically demonstrates the research objective,the significance of research,research status,innovation and other issues.It is the premise and basis for further theoretical research.The second chapter introduces the Background of formation of XPCC.Throughout the historical background,it mainly includes two aspects:the world’s situation in the initial period of new China and the basic situation of Xinjiang at that time.The blockade and threat of western hostile forces to Xinjiang,the Treaty of Friendship and Mutual Assistance between China and the Soviet Union,the "honeymoon period" and the border dispute between China and India constitute the world’s situation around Xinjiang of the initial period of new China.The Tradition of Reclamation and Border Guard in Northwest China,Xinjiang’s political situation,economic background and social issues constitute the basic situation of Xinjiang in the initial period of new China.The third chapter is the development course of Xinjiang production and Construction Corps.This part reviews the development history of Xinjiang production and Construction Corps.There is six stages: founding period,hard start up times,the period of great development of the cause,the period of frustration of the cause,the period of withdrawal of the establishment and the period of rejuvenation of the cause.And according to the above six stages of development characteristics of in-depth analysis and key interpretation.Based on the background of the times,this part makes an objective evaluation of Xinjiang production and Construction Corps from the perspective of historical function and experience enlightenment.
