Study On The Particularities Of The Ideological And Political Education In Ethnic Regions And The Countermeasures

Ethnic regions of China have their special status in politics and economy, whose quality of the ideological and political education have great effects on the development of all Chinese socialist careers. It is not only the need of the unity of both our country and ethnic groups, the need of their prosperity, but also the intrinsic requirements of Chinese socialism with its own characteristics. However, many problems arise in ethnic regions such as"focusing on the forms but not the results of ideological and political education, putting economic principles at the first place only and the imperfect quality structure of the staff"and so on. The characteristics of the ideological and political education in ethnic regions, where some splittists of Xinjiang and Tibet have been committing harmful activities constantly, are also distinctive from those of other areas in China for their special historical and political background, traditional cultures and different religious beliefs, which importance and urgency can further be proved in the"3.14"incident that happened in March in Lasa. This paper provides an analysis of the particularities of the ideological and political education in ethnic regions from the following aspects: the historical and cultural background, the social and economic conditions, the subjects and objects, the ways and means etc. and some thoughts and countermeasures are also produced in it, which also presents a good illustration on the importance of"strengthening the fundamental education, our party's leadership, the establishment of the core value system of socialism and improving the management of religious affairs"as well as the right attitude to treat the religious complex of minority nationalities, offering an reference for the work of the ideological and political education in ethnic regions.
