America is a large country composed of immigrates. The legal immigrations to the United Sates are as much as hundreds of thousands. China and India is the two major developing countries in the world. They are also great power of emigration. Chinese and Indians which are two major Asian populations in the America have a large proportion in America. They make great contribute to the economic development. This paper compares the socio-economic status of the America-Indians and America-Chinese from the following aspects: (1) income. It includes personal income, household income and poverty rates. The data shows that the personal income and household income of America-Indians are more than America-Chinese, but the poverty rate of America-Indians is lower than America-Chinese; (2) the ratio of career. The American-Indians are engaged in various professions such as management, education, health care, and information technology. Part of the American-Chinese with highly education background enters management and high-tech industries. However, some lower level education immigrants can only be engaged in low-tech industry and low-income sector. (3) the level of education. The proportion of America-Indians with the degree or higher is more then the American-Chinese. The proportion of America-Indians only with high school education or following qualifications is lower than American-Chinese. In these three indicators above, education is a decision based on socio-economic status of ethnic groups. Occupation is the key factor to achieving labor transformation. Income can further promote education. Socio-economic status of American Indian is high than American Chinese. One of most the important factors is the high overall level of education of American Indian. American Chinese is polarization seriously. The "first-class society" is composed by a small number of elite. A large number of low educations, low-income groups of American Chinese are the important component of the group. They impact on the socio-economic status of American Chinese. Their survival condition can not be ignored.
