Juvenile deliquency has become the third largest public hazard in the world, following the drug-related crimes and the environmental pollution. Teenagers are in great number and are widely distributed. Therefore, the study of crime prevention in categories has great significance. With the popularization of higher vocational education, the total number of students in vocational colleges has reached about 7,500,000. Such large group has great impact on the society. In recent years, the number of students in crime is on the rise and the type is diversified. Domestic scholars pay little attention to the study of the vocational students crime. Facing the current situation of the vocational students in crime, the author investigated the cases, classified, collated, and assessed their characteristics and analyzed the reasons to seek the methods for the prevention of crimes.This thesis includes six parts. The introduction part discussed the fact of the growing criminal phenomenon for vocational students, raising the topics of this thesis as well as analyzing the practical value of this study. The first part of the body, for the prevention of crimes, summarized the connotation of students crime from a broad criminal perspective on the basis of criminal law and criminology, which included the behaviors of the violation of "Criminal Law" and the "Law on Administrative Penalties for Public Security", unhealthy and severe unhealthy behaviors in "Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency ". Part Two reviewed the present situation of vocational students crime and analyzed its characteristics and trend. Part Three classified the major types of vocational students crime such as crimes against property, crimes of violence and sex-related crimes. Part Four analyzed the reasons of the vocational students crime. Firstly, it introduced and commented on the representative theories of crimes at home and abroad. Then it analyzed the personal reasons and social reasons of the vocational students crime. The personal reasons mainly included the physiological, psychological and legal factors. The social reasons mainly included the factors of economy, social media, schools, and families. Part Five explored the measures for the prevention of crimes from three aspects, that is, social prevention, school prevention and family prevention. Social prevention referred to the economic, political and cultural prevention. School prevention referred to the establishment of the forecast system for crimes and the double prevention mechanisms of technological and conceptual prevention. Individuals prevention referred to the maintenance of harmonious family relations, the promotion of virtual family values, the enforcement of scientific family education and the recognition of a good example set by parents and so on.
