Facing the organizing environment and managing phenomenon that are getting increasingly complex and fickle, the managing thought and idea advocated by the harmony management theory has increasingly shown its theoretical value and practical value in recent years. As a new managing pattern, the harmony idea has been accepted by more and more Chinese and foreign enterprises and has achieved many practical effects in practice. While until now, nobody has systematically probed the management of non-profit organizations (NPO) in our country in terms of the harmony management. This essay, by analyzing the possibility and meaning of the application of harmony managing theory in NPO, built the goal system of harmony managing in NPO---including the internal harmony brought by effective human resource management of members of organization (employees and volunteers), the managing harmony of the procedure of coordinating organization and contributor and customer and the orientating harmony in the social relation between NPO and government. That is to say, to attain general harmony of NPO on the base of harmony and by achieving internal relation harmony, managing procedure harmony and harmony between organization and exterior policy environment. Since there is the idea of "harmony" in Chinese traditional culture, to promote and apply harmony management theory in NPO will powerfully promote the promotion of overall quality of organization.Research method of this essay is on the base of general philological method and logic method and combined with the prospective of comprehensive research of cross-disciplinary research. Combined with the character of the issue, the specific methods in use are comparative method, induction and literature analytical approach.
