Research On The Development Dilemma Of Non-profit Organization

After the reform and opening up, China’s economy transform from a planned economy to a market economy, Unit system is disintegrating and the market mechanism is not yet mature, so many social problems can’t be solved. Nonprofit organizations appear to make up "government failure" and "market failure" defects and Play an important role in solving social problems and promoting social development. The rapid growth of non-profit organizations made scholars study more and more. However, affected by China’s administrative system, the development of non-profit organizations in the transition period has been subject to various restrictions. Scholars have also started to pay attention to the plight of non-profit organizational development and research solutions.However, most studies scholars have focused on grassroots non-profit organizations, nonprofit organizations with small scale, weak capacity are less concerned. This paper analyzes the case of L agency. According to this, we can learn the survival and development of such non-profit organizations. In the course of the study, the author attempts to summarize some important factors affecting sustainable development of such non-profit organization. This paper is divided into six parts. The first part describes the research background and research problem and describes the research process, research methods and research object. The purpose of the second part is to understand the concept, types and the development dilemma of nonprofit organizations and study the difference between the object and grassroots non-profit organizations, and determine the research direction based on previous studies. The third part analyzes the operation and management of L agency and introduces the process of growth and development of such non-profit organizations. According to interviews, we recognize the problems of L institutions in the operation and management. The fourth part and the fifth part analyze the relationship among L agency, community and recipients and recognize the various difficulties L institutions encountered in service. And on this basis, this paper introduces service experience of ZD agency to provide experience for the L agency. The sixth part of the paper is to summarize the results of earlier studies, and make policy recommendations to promote the development of non-profit organizations.According to the study, in the process of Non-profit organization development, operation and management of its own difficulties, and community relations dilemma and build relationships with service object are important factors influencing its sustainable development. Based on the research findings, the author puts forward related countermeasures to promote the further development of non-profit organization from the government, non-profit organization and society three dimensions.
