On Leading Cadre's Life Style Construction Under The New Situation

Leading cadres'life-style is an important component of the leading cadres'style system, which affects the healthy development of leading cadres'ideological style, study style, work style and leadership style. Because of the special position of the leading cadres, their life-style not only has an important impact on economic development, political life, cultural construction and social development, but also has a more direct impact on their personal development.In our country, the groups of leading cadres are huge-numbered, obviously-leveled, widely-distributed, and tremendously-impacted. Overall, the mainstream of China's leading cadre's life style is good, positive, healthy, but the value and behavior of a small number of leading cadres in their life style don't fit their status. Facts show that the life style of leading cadres is not trivial, it's often the weak links which can easily lead some degenerated cadres into corruption in the process of anti- corruption and resisting change, and it's also the main means which miscreants with ulterior motives can use to corrupt leading cadres. Therefore, the strengthening of construction of the leading cadres'life style is not only of great theoretical value, but also of great practical significance.Adhering to the Marxist stand, viewpoint and method ,and applying sociology, political science, leadership science, social psychology, behavior science and other related knowledge, this paper first defines the content, the characteristics of the leading cadres living style and studies the relationship between the leading cadres living style and the other styles ,then outlines the problem and the reasons of China's current presence of a few leading cadres of life style , analyzes the relationship between the life style of leading cadres and economic construction, political construction, cultural construction and social construction. And then based on the principle "focusing on construction" in the life style of leading cadres, this paper describes the theory basis ,realistic basis and the objectives and content of the life style of leading cadres. On this basis, the paper at last proposes new measures to further strengthen the construction of the leadership cadres'life style in the new situation.
