The Research On The Relationship Between Social Morality Construction And The Government

China's socialist market economic reform and the society's transformation have made our social relations and social structure undergo profound changes, and have made our morality construction produce some new situations and new problems. Social morality construction has never aroused the concern of the whole society like this.It has a dialectical relationship between Social morality construction and the Government. Strengthening Social morality construction is the intrinsic request of the Government's promoting and adapting to China's socialist market economic reform, is the inevitable trend towards the increasingly integrated approach of contemporary society governing, and is also the need to build a harmonious society then realize person's full scale development. The Government has an unshirkable responsibility to safeguard social morality, to maintain the bottom line of morality and to construct the moral order to adapt to social development. The Government should lead people's moral choice and the morality construction of itself plays a guidance role in promoting the social morality construction.Based on the current situation of social morality in our country, without a doubt, the government, which has the huge social resource and the strength, is the important responsibility body. The article analyzes the reason of the society's moral abnormality from the angle of the government's weakness even vacancy in the social morality construction. It has extraordinary significance that we learn the experience from the countries and regions which have similar background with China to promote China's ongoing social morality construction. A lot of practice in Singapore and Hong Kong will give us enlightenment, which China should learn and study.The social morality may realize the new spanning in the construction,but this process will not realize automatically without our endeavor. The government should fulfill its responsibility in the following aspects: the system's perfection of our socialist market economy and some related system construction,morality institutionalization and legalization, the construction on the administrative morality;the functions of moral education to lead moral choice.
