Studies On The Problem Of Benefit Coordination In The Vision Of Harmonious Society

The construction of a harmonious socialist society is the aim which has been long pursuited by Chinese communist party since it was in power and the connotation of socialism of Chinese characteristic. We must coordinate the relations of benefit if we want to construct a harmonious society of socialism.At present, China is undergoing the crucial period of social transformation and the transition of the system. With the continuous deepening of reform and opening up, social structure and the distribution of interests situation has undergone profound changes, there has been a relationship between the people's livelihood and contradictions and problems which is urgent to be resolved. Whether or not correctly understands and deals with those contradictions appearing in the current stage and promotes the mutual coordination and the benign interaction between the different groups of interests is a major problem related to building a socialist harmonious society.On the basis of practice of the development of more than 20 years, this article analyzes some new characteristics, some new problems and the root of conflicts of benefit at current stage, introduces the basic principle and practical ways of establishing the mechanism of benefit coordination. At present, the major characteristics of benefit conflicts in China is diversification of the interests sources, diversification of the main interests, conflicts of benefit groups, and collectivization of the game of benefit; specific features: gap between rich and poor has continued to widen, class contradictions increasingly prominent, and the employment problem is becoming increasingly serious, corruption and illegal income despite repeated prohibition. The root causes of these conflicts include: the effective supply shortage, change of income distribution system, institutional and policy shortcomings, and so on. To resolve these contradictions and problems, mechanism for effective coordination of benefit must be established. Some principle must be guided to establish a sound mechanism of benefit coordination. It includes: the fundamental principle of people's livelihood, the principle of balance; the principle of fairness and justice; the principle of common prosperity. Specific ways include: the establishing a sound benefit-oriented mechanism; establishing the mechanism of benefit demands and the supervision mechanism of benefit and the sound compensation mechanism of benefit.
