According to the theories of social culture conflict, the individual socialization and sub-culture, this article is trying to analyze the factors which affect the culture identity of the youth and to put up the proposals on constructing new type culture identity of the youth, basing on reviewing the current status of the culture identity of China youth under the macroscopic background of globalization.In the context of globalization, the cultural identity of the young people in China is generally active, as they are full of confidence in traditional culture, own their own mainstream culture and express their recognition of the mainstream ideology.On the other hand, there exist some deviation in the cultural identity among the Chinese youth, and some disorientation and distortion in some conceptual values, which can be mainly reflected in such aspects as their frustration about ethnic culture, system culture, and values. In other words, there is a cultural identity crisis tendency.There are several factors contributing to the youth cultural identity, including socio-cultural and social education, public opinion, as well as youth and their peer groups influencing each other.For construction of such a new youth cultural identity, we should start with the following work: to raise the "cultural consciousness" and enhance the national consciousness; to actively eliminate cultural identity crisis; to integrated innovation Chinese mainstream culture; and to actively absorb outstanding achievements of foreign cultures while safeguarding China's mainstream culture of safety.
