The Comparison Research Of The "National Defense Educational Act" Between China And America

National defense education is the foundation of the national defense construction and consolidation. It is also an important way to strengthen the national cohesion, and to improve people's quality. Along with the massive applications of science and technology in the modern warfare, science and technology has become increasingly important in war and national defense development, and human's scientific quality becomes the key factor to win the war and consolidate the national defense. National defense education must adapt to this kind of change positively by integrating national defense with education, providing outstanding talents and the intelligence support for the national defense development. The US "National Defense Education Act" has been successful example in this regard and may be our reference for our country's national defense education development.The present thesis mainly conducts the comparison on the Sino-America "National defense Education Act" from three aspects:1. A comparison of the legal procedure, of the relationship among the "National defense Educational Act" with the national defense strategy, and the education development;2. A comparison of the primary contents;3. A comparison of their implementation effects.On the basis of comparison Sino-America "National defense Education Act" in the similarities and differences, the paper obtains the significant enlightenment to our country national defense education development, proposes three suggestions on our country's national defense education reformation and development:1. Enhancing the legislation to promote the integration of national defense with education, and the national defense function of education;2. Deepening the educational reform to give prominence to the role of education in fostering qualified personnel for the national defense;3. Providing educational support to the military forces, and attracting outstanding youth to join the army.
