There is no doubt that Marxism is scientific and Marx made the transition from idle dream to the scientific socialism by finding the two great theories of historical materialism and surplus value. But we are regretting to admit that the sprits of to-be and transcending and believes are absent from the time boldly and straightly. Man need to keep the spirit of science when thinking and moving, however, actions definitely need the transcending spirit of seeking to-be. The spirits of science and seeking to-be shape and build the history of human being and his world, and as well as Marx's thoughts. Modern western philosophies also do researches on Marx's thought of to-be from all sides. Marx didn't specially and absolutely make and discuss the concept of to-be thought in his writings, but we believe, without hesitation, that this person who seeks to-be in his deep heart all the way, who cares about the future of human so much and who terminates the traditional philosophy and makes a philosophy transition, must conceal his considering of to-be thought in his writings in different times.Marx didn't definite the concept of to-be, so we should pre-comprehend this thought before we unveil it, which will be presented in the preface. The first part studies the concept of to-be and its connotation, and shows its depth and variety by comparing with the concepts of future, Utopia, meta-physics and the spirit of philosophy. The second part gets the development procedures and basic features of to-be thought by reading Marx's writings. The third part states the relationship between philosophy transition and to-be thought, and makes deep sense of to-be hiding behind Marx's philosophy, the historical point of view and the communism theory. The forth part mainly criticizes the opposite ideas from the modern Utopia thought and counter-historical ideological trend, and Delida's to-be thought in his destructrure communism ideological trend, which aims to deepen Marx's to-be thought.
