Sino-us relations is the most important foreign relations. But at the beginning of the 21st century, the development of china-us relations is not easy. Therefore studying the American policy toward China has the very vital practical significance. This article has mainly analyzed the Bush administration's security policy the background, main content, influence to our country as well as to the Sino-US security relationship forecast.With the rapid development of Chinese economy, the structural contradiction between China and US intensifies day by day. Because Bush influenced deeply by new conservatism, geostrategic concept and the thinking of the cold war, the Bush administration locates China in the US"the strategic competitor".In the security, the US pursues to China's relative benefit, strengthens to our country's front military deployment,"frightens anti-"China, promotes the US-Taiwan military relations, strengthens with our country surrounding countries military cooperation relations, carries on to China diverts and surrounds. After"frightens anti-"the strategic defeat, the US transfers to implement"both sides bottom pouring"to contain China, prevent the emergence of China threat to America's world hegemony.Security policy of the Bush administration to China bring our nation some influence, especially negative influence.Between China and US the contradiction makes us will see China as America's strategic competitor. America's security policy to China is likely to continue to strengthen the curb and contact with the combination of circumstances, with the curb more emphasized. To maximum limit maintain our country's national interest, creates the good international environment, deals with America's security policy to China correctly, our country should take the corresponding countermeasure.
