The Research Of Chinese Self-government In The Rural Grass-roots Mass Since Reform And Opening-up

Thirty years have gone by since China began its policy of reform and opening-up in rural areas since the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party.Through the development during these years,China rural primary masses autonomy system has been established basically,the organization carrier has been consummated,the content has been enriched and the forms have become various.Including village committees,various rural economic organizations and some other rural masses autonomy are playing more and more important roles in the construction of socialist democracy.However,there are still many problems unsolved in the practice of rural primary masses autonomy.Firstly,the author reviews the development progress of Chinese rural basic masses autonomy since China's reform and opening-up,and then summarizes the chief achievements and problems of rural basic masses autonomy during this period.Finally, it puts emphasis on the discussion about how to uphold and perfect the policy of rural basic masses autonomy,which stresses expanding the range of rural basic masses autonomy,improving the laws relevant to rural basic masses autonomy,building up the coordination guarantee system in harmony with rural basic masses autonomy and strengthening the association and coordination between rural basic masses autonomy organizations and other groups.
