Exploration And Selection Of China Communist Party On Political Modernization Model Against The Background Of Globalization

Political modernization can be understood as a way with changed forms of political system, which can better adapt to the life of parts of modern people in specific history and cultural environment through systematical transition of traditional politics of countries.Specifically speaking,as for a nation-state in specific historical background and international and domestic environment,it is a way with systematical political changes that are caused by developing the useful political traditions and discarding the useless,establishing,developing and improving a democratized and unified political system,and making people access more political rights and freedom.It should take the external environment of globalization and the internal conditions of socialist system into consideration in selecting a political modernization model of contemporary China.Globalization strengthens the affection,cooperation and interaction among countries.It makes western developed countries promote their political modernization models to nations all around the world.However,a successful political modernization model comes into being according to specific historical,social and cultural conditions,and develops gradually during the communication between history and reality in specific society.This process provides possibilities to achieve successful transition from traditional political system to modern political system.The political modernization models vary in different countries.As for China,it is an extremely urgent issue for academies to select a political modernization model which can maintain social stability, speed up the process of China's political development,and realize political modernization of China against the globalization background.This thesis includes two major parts:the introduction and the main body.The introduction explains the researching meanings,innovations and methods,as well as literature review of this field.The main body includes four parts.The first part provides a theoretical foundation.It analyzes and defines the related concepts of political modernization model and makes a classification,and analyzes the positive and negative effects of globalization on political modernization models.The second part represents the exploration of China Communist Party on political modernization model,the process of which includes four developing stages:hard exploration,resumption,basic establishment and continue improvement.It is concluded that China should establish a political modernization model with Chinese socialist characteristics in the globalization background.On the basis of historical traditions,reality,changes of main force, the third part makes an analysis and summarization of the theoretical frame and system of political modernization model with Chinese socialist characteristics from objectives,principles, core,power,coordination and ways.Based on the above,the last part systematically concludes the experiences of establishing a political modernization model with Chinese socialist characteristics which should adapt to Chinese social conditions and globalization development requirements.The experiences are:adhering to the leadership of Chinese Communist Part,taking the way of communication and interaction between the whole world and China,firmly sticking to the direction of socialist democratic politics,absorbing reasonable and outstanding achievements of global politics and culture with an open and realistic attitude,as well as searching essence of traditional politics and culture with the guidance of Marxism.
