The Study On The Reform Of Chinese Police Education And Training System

The education and training system for police have played an important role not only in police force training and cultivation but also in police theory construction and development. However, with the social, economic and political development, the traditional education and training system for police has not been able to meet the requirement of the current social police force development. It is imperative to carry out the reform of the present education and training system for police. In the first place, this thesis discusses the theoretical and the realistic significance of structuring a mature education and training system for police, evaluates and analyses the character and effect of the present education and training system for police on the basis of summarizing the establishment and development context of the education and training system for police. Taking the Public Security University of China, Zhejiang Police College and Shanghai Public Security College as examples, this thesis makes a summary for the reform practice of the education and training system for police in recent years. By analyzing the existing major problems of the present system, this thesis illustrates the key point and direction of our reform in the education and training system for police, and puts forward the view and suggestion for structuring a mature education and training system for police.
