Game And Equilibrium Under Uncertainty

The cross-straits relations of the early 1960s are an outcome of international and cross-straits interests. Game comes from collision of constant and variable. The variable is the basis of going to a new equilibrium. The game of the cross-straits relations of the early 1960s can be divided into three stages: Chicken game stage(1960-1961); The prisoner dilemma stage(1962-1963); new equilibrium stage(1964).The crisis of 1958 had hidden trouble affection on future development of the cross-straits relations. When some affairs brake out, the hidden trouble affection brought uncertainty and got correlative interest parts into fencing. Chester Bowles come out with"China Problem Reconsidered"and brought an institution of Things done cannot be undone. But the institution had been broken by the Crisis of 1962 because the authorities of Taiwan tried to strengthen reign by force and avoided more conflict of interest among American, Japan and Taiwan. On the other hand, some international affairs happened along with the conflict. Military and political blackmail and action partly got the cross-straits relations fall into the prisoner dilemma stage. But the stage was not the last strategy because some political affairs brought out such as the Success of Nuclear Tests in China, Khrushchev's step-down, Kennedy assassinated and Building foreign relations of China and France. These new variables got the game go to new equilibrium.
