A Geo-political Perspective On Sino-Russian Security Strategy Cooperation Research

After the Cold War,the bipolar pattern disintegrated.The world develops towards economic globalization and political multi-polarization. Therefore,the ideological confrontation mode gradually disappears from the stage of history.No longer in an era of demarcation based on ideology, in order to realize their own interests,China and Russia which are the largest mutual geopolitical countries and at the same time in transition cooperate in security strategy.This dissertation is from a geopolitical perspective to study this issue.First of all,this dissertation builds up a theoretical framework on the origin and characteristics of geopolitical theories and the basic ideas and changes of the national security concept.Then this dissertation points out that geopolitical countries must cooperate in security.Moreover,the dissertation summarizes various schools' contribution to security cooperation theory.Cooperation is not a zero-sum game,but a win-win situation.Secondly,through analyzing the differences of the geopolitical situations,the national security concepts and security strategies between China and Russia,we can find their security cooperation motivations and the contents of this cooperation.Geopolitical security cooperation is not only possible but also necessary.Thirdly,the dissertation analyzes the geopolitical location of Black Bear Island,the origin of the dispute and the historical process of resolving this dispute.The resolution of the Black Bear Island is the integration of favorable and unfavorable factors of Sino-Russian security strategy cooperation.From this practice we can see that Sino-Russian geopolitical security cooperation is a win-win result. Fourthly,the practice of Sino-Russian geo-security strategy cooperation provides an example to solve China's geopolitical security problem.Their cooperation is benefit for bilateral,regional,even global security and stability.Sino-Russian's geo-political security cooperation has a significant impact on the adjustment of powerful countries' relation.It is beneficial to the formation of global diversification and global geo-political security strategy pattern.
