A Study On University Students' Social Practice Organized By The University Communist Youth League

Although there are lots of domestic literatures which have made researches on university students'social practice, few of them makes research on students'personal experiences and feelings, or explore what the students get from the activities and what the students advice on the activities, moreover, in most of the previous researches, the university students'social practice were generally referred to both teaching practice and the practice organized by Communist Youth League, few of previous researches made distinguish between them.This paper focused on the university students'social practice guided and organized by Communist Youth League, excluding the teaching practice. Three major aspects are researched in this paper, including the organization process of students'social practice, what the students get from the social practice and the advice on social practice from university students.Using qualitative research methods, I have looked through the website of Communist Youth League Central and the website of five universities'Communist Youth League, interviewed fifteen college students, and analyzed the students'feelings on the social practice.After the comprehensive research, we have made some exploratory conclusions. Firstly, the social practices organized by Communist Youth League are quite attractive to the college students; Secondly, the students'expected gains can contribute to the actual gains from the social practice; Thirdly, different types of social practice have different effects on college students; Lastly, college students'some expectations on social practice organized by the Communist Youth League are unrealistic.
