Mao Tse-Tung was a great proletarian ideologist and revolutionist. His Education Thought is an important ingredient of his whole idea, with the train of thought and theory in which identical and continuing with Mao Tse-Tung Thought. His idea of education was a great application and development of Marxist Education Theory in the background of Chinese practical situation. Being a spark of thoughts shining in the process of Chinese history of education developing, Mao Tse-Tung's Education Thought had impressive meaning to the success of Chinese revolution and the construction of socialist cause, as well as still plays a role in destruction for the development, revolution and recreation of Chinese education.This thesis will study Mao Tse-Tung's Education Thought from three aspects.Partâ… mainly talks about the process of its formation and development. First of all, we discuss and find out the connotation and denotation of the thought itself in a brief way. Then extend to the inner part of Mao's Education Thought. In this part, we'll discuss the original formation of Mao's Thought with a view to contemporary historical background, the social contradiction and the development of educational idea. After that, from a historical point of view, we analyze the steps of its sprout, formation, development, maturation and further development from the whole revolution and conflict to the construction of socialist cause.Partâ…¡mainly talks about the connotation of Mao's Education Thought. This is used to summarize its features. And all these are waiting for the final further explaining from philosophical perspective. Firstly, we fully illustrate the connotation from its content, purpose, methods and functions. After understanding Mao's Educational Thought, we summarize that it had four vivid features of political, practical, popular and comprehensive. At last, we sum up its philosophical basis using the theory of materialistic dialectics and gracious mind.Partâ…¢considers the limit of Mao's Education Thought, thinks deeply about its practical significance dialectically, especially does a research on its positive meaning and its influence to contemporary education. Firstly, we list several limits and analyze its historical reasons. Then we research it in the situation of contemporary education. Finally, summarize its positive significance and influence and functions of destruction to contemporary education.
