A Study On The Transformation Of Social Marginalized Group In The Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region During The Anti-Japanese War

During The Anti-Japanese War period, the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia border region government launched a social transformation project which regarded "marginalized groups" as the object of it under the guidance of new-democratic revolution ideology. It should be pointed out that the transformation of social marginalized group is a important facility to maintain social order and stability, eliminate harmful factors, set up the new prevailing custom, and improve the quality of the masses, which was aroused the Chinese Communist Party and the border government's attention. That offers important guarantee for conforming the integration of the Anti-Japanese national united front's strength, breaking unreasonable old customs and ideas, and promoting the harmonious development of border region government society, and the final victory of Anti-Japanese war and the development of undertakings of new-democratic revolution.This article considered the transformation of marginalized group which is launched by border region during Anti-Japanese War period as its research object, and this article is divided into four parts. The first part is the introduction, summarizes origin of the topic and the present research situation of transformation of social marginalized group in border region, expounds the necessity and feasibility of this article.The second section elaborates the foundation of the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia border region and the importance of transforming social marginalized group. Pointing out that influence of natural environment and social environment to the transformation of marginalized groups in the process of creating the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia border region, analyzes the social causes of the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia border region marginalized groups' increasing during the period of the republic of China, and then illustrates the importance of the border government for the transformation of marginalized group.The third part firstly explains the border region government has conditions to transform marginalized groups. At the same time, emphatically elaborates the border region government carried out integral guidelines, policies and measures in extremely tough environment, to eliminate bandits, save addicts, transform witches and necromancers. During a few years, it made clear comprehensive benefit and the social face of border region also look brand-new.The fourth part is based on the third part, summarizes the particularities of transformation of marginalized group which is launched by border region government, and gives prominence to the status and role of the masses, social and educational facilities, laws and regulations in the process of reforming marginalized groups. Then expand horizons, expounds the transformation of marginalized group have significant historical enlightenment for solving a lot of current social problems.
