The transnational immigrants are not only the result of globalization, but also the booster of globalization. 21st century is a century of immigration, the growing tide of globalization has made no countries allowing for information, goods and capital opened, but refusing the movement of population. The international immigration has become a common phenomenon under the contemporary world. The rapid development of globalization is bound to promote the exchange and cooperation in the fields of politics, economics and culture. It provides not only unprecedented opportunities, but also unprecedented challenges to human being. The arrival and settlement of the large number of immigrants impact the migrant-exporting countries, the relations between migrant-exporting and migrant-importing countries. As far as EU migrant-importing countries concerned, the immigration problems originated with the partial contradiction between supply and demand in the labor market, have rosed to comprehensive problems effecting their politics, economics, societies, culture and even the process of European integration. Objectively speaking, the benefits brought by immigrants are much more than the problems to the EU countries. However, the states have to retained the immigration problems, because it come down to sovereignty and autonomy, which are the most important core interests and so sensitive to the nation-states. In addition, the governments and people of EU pay excess attention to the negative impacts brought by immigrants, taking non-welcome and exclusion attitude, so make the EU immigration problems more complex and acute. So, in order to make truly effective immigration policies, the EU should find the essential of immigration problems, and reflect them with globalization perspectives. Making positive and effective, nondiscriminatory, common immigration policies is not only the booster to the EU economics, but also the key resolving the EU immigration problems. In the field of immigration controlled, making integrated immigration policies in the EU level is a general trend, and also the future direction of development; while in the field of immigration integration, the present task of EU is continue to explore the integration ways and measures which are suitable to their countries, making theoretical and practical preparation for make common immigration integration policies in the future.Although the EU have many difficulties in immigration problems, it is impossible to shut or open thoroughly the door to the immigrants. The immigrants need the EU, the EU also needs the immigrants. What is the future direction and result of EU immigration, we have to wait and see.
